Residents at The Ruddington had a fantastic arts and crafts session recently, with everyone creating their own beautiful, hand painted flower vases and pots. There was no shortage of creativity on show with incredible designs from every resident providing us with great new plant holders to put in rooms throughout the home.

A fantastic job by everyone!

At Orchard House, we recently celebrated the 90th birthday of our lovely resident, Brenda. There were many well wishes, cards and congratulations from residents, family, and friends as we presented her with a delicious birthday cake to mark her special day.

We hope she had a fantastic day!

Our residents had a fantastic time on Friday celebrating Valentine’s Day, with gifts and decorations adorning the walls of the home, as well as our residents accessorising to fit the theme of the day.

We could feel the love in the air all day!

At Orchard House, our residents had a fantastic time recently making their own cookies for loved ones ahead of last Friday. Everyone took turns decorating with their own toppings on the heart-shaped treats – the perfect gift for anyone to show their love.

The end results were as delicious as they were beautiful!

Over the Christmas period, residents at Balmore House had lots of fun with many excellent festive activities that you may have seen online. Here’s one we are yet to showcase, our brilliant Gingerbread house constructions! Everyone was incredible when it came to designing and building these beautiful and delicious houses.

They were a great addition to the festive decorations throughout the home over Christmas!

Residents at Balmore had a wonderful time over Christmas Day. They were treated to a delicious meal and some fantastic entertainment throughout the whole day, leaving everyone with big smiles on their faces. We had many fun games and activities for all our residents to take part in which had laughter filling all corners of the home.

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas just like us!

Residents and staff at St Peters enjoyed a very comfortable PJ day at the home recently, a great way to unwind after a busy few weeks. There were a few people who wore matching sets and really looked the part, as we all settled down with a nice cup of hot chocolate!

We all relaxed and watched a few christmas films ahead of the big day tomorrow – Merry Christmas!

At Orchard House, we had a fantastic time during our staff Christmas party last week. It was an excellent party and a celebration of diversity with our food selection on offer – we are truly lucky to have such a friendly and hard-working group of staff at the home!

We would like to extend our gratitude to all family that made donations of gifts, chocolates and wine for the staff as well – a lovely Christmas gesture.

At St Peters, we were treated to another beautiful performance from the lovely Marie this week. She came to sing for our residents and staff during our Christmas party. Everyone enjoyed the show and had a great time singing along to Christmas classics.
